Wedding services
No, we're not offering our wedding services - we just wanted to thank the people that we used and let you know that we thought they were great! ...

Some of them need to have detail added, but for now (deep breath) here goes:

Quartet: Fantasia Strings
The quartet played during the ceremony and reception and were great. Nathalie was very friendly and helpful before the wedding when we were deciding what music we wanted and also arranged our first waltz for the quartet.
Contact Nathalie Sharp on 07754 263929 or nathaliesharp@aol.com (Great Missenden, Bucks)

Florist: Mad About Flowers
Mad owns a fab flower shop in Oxford and we both decided very quickly that we wanted her to be the florist for our wedding. She did a fantastic job!

Venue: Oxford Town Hall
We hired the The Old Library and Assembly Room at Oxford Town Hall for our ceremony and reception - both rooms with plenty of character. Sue Scarrott and Tim Cox were particularly helpful with organisation in the run-up to the wedding.
You can contact the town hall on 01865 252195, or find more information at http://www.oxford.gov.uk/services/town-hall.cfm

Disco: Oxford Disco Services
Ian did a great job of the disco and there were plenty of people up dancing - not least us!

Shoes: Heavenly Dance Shoes
We took a trip to Heavenly Dance Shoes (nr Watford) on the basis of a number of recommendations, and walked away having each ordered a pair of shoes. You can pick the style of each part of the shoe and the material that you want the shoe to be made from, and the length and width of your shoes are measured separately. All this gives you exactly the shoe that you were looking for (especially important when you need that snug fit for dancing!) which is why we got the bridesmaids' shoes here as well.

Dress shop: The Bridal Suite
We had great fun shopping for Emilie's wedding dress. We visited lots of shops but, luckily for us, this one had not only the most fantastic dress (well we think so anyway!) but also the most friendly and helpful staff. Every time we popped in they were up for a natter about something or another.

Travel agent: Going Places
Neil at Going Places was extremely helpful and patient when we were looking for our honeymoon. When he phoned us a week before the wedding to say that the hotel we were booked to stay at had notified them that they had got building works, he had already looked for some alternatives for us. And our honeymoon turned out perfectly!
Our local Going Places is 16 Market Place, Wokingham, Berkshire RG40 1AL - 0118 477 4911

Diving
Deep and Wide Diving
We did our PADI Open Water course with Deep and Wide before we went on honeymoon so that we could enjoy it when we were out there. They were very friendly and made us feel confident about diving.
Kev, Kat, Doug, Neil et al can be contacted on 01252 544373 or you can get more details at http://www.deepandwide.co.uk

Neptuno Diving
We dived with the friendly folks at Neptuno Diving whilst we were on honeymoon. We had a fantastic time and always felt confident about the Divemasters we were with, and were welcome to drop in for a coffee and a chat even when we weren't diving!
More information can be found at http://www.neptunodive.com or you can call them on (809) 526 2005

Dance lessons: Legion Dance Studio
We had a number of lessons with Laura to go over the waltz. Although we couldn't do much in the way of rise and fall in our first dance (due to Emilie's big dress) we did feel much more confident for the extra lessons. And Laura was a fabulous teacher!
Legion Dance Studio, 16a Charles Square, Bracknell RG12 1DF - 01344 454861

Music: Sheet Music World
A big thank you goes to Ella at Sheet Music World all for finding us the music for our first waltz - she spent a lot of time on it so we are really grateful.
You can contact Sheet Music World on 01983 566910 or buy direct from their website at http://www.sheetmusicworld.co.uk

Jewellers: Taylor and Whitlock
A great little jewellers, with great service. Mel was friendly and patient when we were choosing how we wanted them to make our wedding rings (which took a while!). We bought a necklace from them for Emilie to wear on the day but couldn't find matching earrings and they were able to design and make them for us as well.
Taylor and Whitlock, 170 Dukes Ride, Crowthorne, Berkshire RG45 6DS - 01344 780212

Photographer: Ian Keys
Ian was very friendly and we had a very useful chat with him before the wedding about the types of photos that we wanted. We are very pleased with the photos we've got - some posed for the traditionalists amongst us, others very informal. Fantastic!
